Forced Swing - der Erzwungene Schwinger

The squeaking of the bird's swing, which is firmly anchored in acoustic memory, is reawakened in the work. But when the viewer approaches the cage, the sound stops and from one and a half meters the swing stands still. Tense magnetic silence. The enforced silence is only released when the audience turns away from the exhibited object. Then it rocks vigorously anew in the empty cage. A concrete pinch of memory with Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and generated by electromagnetic fields.
